The Cantabrian Sea is a special part of the Atlantic Ocean. This name is mostly used in Spain. It touches the northern coast of Spain and the southwest coast of France. It is also part of the larger Bay of Biscay.

This sea stretches for about 800 km (497 mi) along the coast. It starts from a place called Estaca de Bares in province of A Coruña, Spain. It ends near the mouth of the Adour river in Bayonne, France.
