Story of Pumpkin Reports
The story of Pumpkin Reports begins when two aliens, Loom and Ran, arrive on Earth. They are called Kemiies. Their mission is to send reports back to their home planet. They are also planning an invasion of Earth!
Max Green's normal life changes completely when he finds out about them. His parents don't believe him, so Max has to stop the Kemiies' plans. He wants to prevent them from taking over Earth.
Max gets help from his friends. There's Violet, who has been Max's friendly rival since kindergarten. Pixel is the town's biggest nerd and believes in aliens more than anyone. Simon Sillicon is a super smart scientist who lost his good reputation.
Most of Loom's and Ran's plans to invade Earth fail. This keeps delaying the invasion. But things start to change later when Loom finds her soulmate, who is a human. With his help, the alien invasion gets closer to happening.
Meet the Characters
Loom Prxbtlyp (Teresa Green)
Loom Prxbtlyp is an alien, but she looks like a polite girl named Teresa Green. She is voiced by Onalea Gilbertson. Teresa is adopted by the Green family. She seems like a perfect student who respects older people.
However, Loom is actually a Kemii. Her job is to take over Earth and make humans her slaves. She sends reports every night to the Kemii spaceship. These reports help speed up the invasion. Loom sometimes struggles to understand human feelings. She often sees humans as illogical, like ants in a farm. But Loom also has a sensitive side. Sometimes she acts more human than alien. Later, her soulmate joins the series. Together, they plan their rule over Earth.
Loom chose her disguise as a cute 12-year-old from a movie poster. She named her "brother" Goliath after a dog's ID tag.
Ran Strb (Goliath Green)
Ran Strb, also known as Goliath Green, is an alien voiced by Pietro Ubaldi. He is 380 years old and was almost ready to retire. He thought his Earth mission would be boring. Ran only speaks the Kemii language, not any Earth languages.
He wears a lot of clothes and has bright orange hair. Only part of his face is ever seen. Goliath also has a long, plant-like tail that moves on its own. He can stretch his slimy green body up to 20 feet tall. This makes his small, kindergarten-sized self look very intimidating.
Victor Green
Victor Green, voiced by H.D. Quinn, is Max's dad. He is a loving father and husband, though sometimes a bit distracted. He dreams of doing great things for his family. Victor and Max both have a positive outlook on life. They can sometimes be a bit too optimistic. He works as a manager at Cutlery Land, Cucurtown's biggest business.
Laura Green
Laura Green, voiced by Lindsay Sheppard, is Max's mom. She loves her children and enjoys gardening. Her amazing gourd plants are why Loom chose their backyard for the alien landing. Her prize-winning pumpkin is actually the alien headquarters! Laura is a happy homemaker with a college degree in Botany. She hopes to compete on a TV game show called "Who Knows What." She has a lot of knowledge about koalas and Australian Rules Football.
Max Green
Max Green, voiced by Shannon Conley, is an energetic 11-year-old. He can be a bit bossy and sneaky. Max is good at sports, music, and school. He was popular until Loom and Ran, his adopted "siblings," arrived. They stole all the attention.
Max's main goal is to make people believe his alien siblings are real. He wants to prove they are using his home to plan Earth's takeover. He also wants to stop their daily reports to their home planet, Kemii.
Pixel Sillicon
Pixel Sillicon is an 11-year-old boy who absolutely loves aliens. Dylan Jones provides his voice. His dad is a dedicated UFO expert, which explains Pixel's interest. Pixel truly believes he was once taken by aliens. He hopes to be abducted again someday. So, he leaves his bedroom window open at night. He even has lights on his roof pointing to his room!
Pixel is very trusting, which makes him a tricky ally for Max. He is loyal to Max because Max actually lives with two aliens. Even though he looks up to Max as the anti-invasion leader, Pixel likes Loom. He once thought they could rule Earth together as a kind king and queen. That was before he saw her soulmate and their own plans for a kingdom.
Simon Sillicon
Simon Sillicon is Pixel's father. He is voiced by Matt Ban. Simon gave up his important computer work to find aliens. He believes aliens have been living among us for 30 years. He even had a famous valley in California named after his early computer work!
The real scientists stopped believing Simon years ago. For three decades, Simon has invented high-tech gadgets and computer programs. He uses them to fight the alien attack he is sure is coming. Simon is so focused on his technology that he doesn't mind being bossed around by two kids. He is happy to help with any plan Max or Violet come up with. Simon has a mysterious past, with files that link him to a big scandal.
Violet Violet
Violet Violet is a smart, strong-willed 11-year-old girl. She has a unique fashion sense. She also has a blog where she shares ideas to improve the world. She wants to change music, art, and especially people's closed minds. For example, her teachers won't let her wear a swan hat to class.
Violet wears violet clothing and dyes her hair violet. She is even looking for a violet pet! To her, the color violet means rejecting fitting in. Her strong will can be a problem because Max is also strong-willed. These two are rivals at school and now in saving the planet. They often disagree. Each wants to lead their alien-fighting team. Neither likes taking "orders" from the other.
