Queen's Cross Church is a church that belongs to the Church of Scotland. It is located in Aberdeen, a city in Scotland. You can find it at the meeting point of Carden Place and Albyn Place, in an area called Queen's Cross. This spot is right in the middle of Aberdeen's west end business area. It is also close to the city's main shopping streets and many hotels.
In June 2023, Queen's Cross Church joined with three other churches: Midstocket Church, Holburn West Church, and Rubislaw Church. Together, they formed a new church called Fountainhall Church. The building itself is very important. It was first recognized as a special building (Category B listed building) in 1967. Later, in 1984, its importance was upgraded to Category A. This means it is a building of national importance.

History of the Church
Early Years and Changes
The Revd Dr Edmund S. P. Jones was the minister at Queen's Cross Church from 1965 to 1983. During his time, the church went through many important changes and grew a lot. For example, in 1975, the old house where the minister lived (called the manse) was sold. A new manse was bought nearby on St. Swithin Street.
The church also added new parts to its building. In 1971, a new nursery wing was built. This provided more space for children and families. For the church's 100th birthday in 1981, the main worship area was updated. An architect named James Roy redesigned and redecorated it, making it look fresh and new.
New Ministers and Challenges
After Dr Jones moved to America in November 1983, a new minister took over. The Revd Bob Brown became the minister in 1984. He served the church for many years until he retired in 2008.
In 2009, Revd Scott Rennie was appointed as the new minister. His appointment caused some discussion among other Church of Scotland clergy. A group from America, the Westboro Baptist Church, announced they wanted to protest at the church. However, the leaders of this group were not allowed to enter Scotland. This meant their planned protest could not happen.
