Early Life and Inspirations

Quinlan McAfee was born in Austin, Texas, on January 18, 2001. He showed an interest in music from a very young age, starting to rhyme and write his own raps when he was only six years old.

In interviews, he has said that the famous rapper Lil Wayne was his biggest inspiration and the artist who made him want to become a rapper. The first album he ever bought was Lil Wayne's Tha Carter III. He was also inspired by the rapper Young Pappy, who encouraged him to rap with confidence in the studio.

Music Career

2016–2017: Getting Started

Quin NFN began recording his music in late 2016. He quickly started to get noticed in his hometown of Austin. His first song to become a local hit was "Game Time Pt. 2," which he released in August 2017. After that, he released more songs like "Gang...", "Revenge," and "Lil Gangsta." The first two songs were included on his first EP, called Stain or Starve.

2018–2019: Rise to Fame

Quin NFN became known across the country in 2018. This happened after he released two of his most successful songs, "Talkin' My..." and "Straight Thru." The music videos for these songs were posted on a popular YouTube channel, which helped them get millions of views.

This success helped him get a record deal with the label 10K Projects. He continued to release popular songs like "How I'm Living" and "NFN ENT," which also gained a lot of attention on YouTube. On October 25, 2019, he released his first mixtape, 4Nun. The mixtape included guest appearances from other popular artists like NLE Choppa and PnB Rock.

2020–Present: More Music

On March 27, 2020, Quin NFN released his second mixtape, Quincho. This project had no guest artists. He later released more singles, including "G Route" with Mozzy and "Sewed Up" with his frequent collaborator Lil 2z. In 2022, he and Lil 2z released a joint mixtape called 2's & 4's.

Quin NFN released his first studio album, Never On Time, on March 17, 2023. The album featured the artist Money Man on one of the tracks.
