A Look Back: Quincy Junction's History
Quincy Junction wasn't always called that! It used to be known as Marston. In 1913, a post office opened there under the name Marston. This name was chosen to honor a person who helped pay for the railroad being built to Quincy Junction. This person was a 'financier,' meaning they provided money to help build the important railway line.
