Rábade, also known as San Vicenzo de Rábade, is a small town in northwestern Spain. It is located in the Lugo province of Galicia. Rábade is the smallest municipality in Galicia.
This town is part of the Lugo comarca. About 1,500 people live in Rábade. The town covers an area of 5.2 square kilometers (about 2 square miles). It sits at an altitude of 400 meters (1,312 feet) above sea level.

History of Rábade
Rábade has an interesting past. Until May 28, 1925, Rábade was not its own municipality. It was part of a nearby area called Begonte. After that date, Rábade became its own separate town.
