RBC WaterPark Place

RBC WaterPark Place is a large office building complex located at 88 Queens Quay West in Toronto, Canada. It was designed by a company called WZMH Architects.

This complex is home to the Royal Bank of Canada, one of Canada's biggest banks. The main part of the complex is a tall tower with 31 floors. It has a huge amount of space, about 930,000 square feet, where many people work. This building was developed by Oxford Properties and is special because it's located a bit outside Toronto's main business area. Construction on the tower started in 2011 and it was finished in 2014. While it was being planned, people thought it might become the bank's main headquarters, but now it holds several of the bank's important teams and operations.

About the WaterPark Place Complex

The RBC WaterPark Place is more than just one tower. It's a group of buildings that work together.

The Main Tower

The newest and tallest part of the complex is the 31-storey tower. It's a modern building where many employees of the Royal Bank of Canada work. This tower helps the bank have enough space for its growing teams.

The Other Buildings

The complex also includes two older office towers. These are known as WaterPark Place I and WaterPark Place II.

  • One tower is at 10 Bay Street and has 18 floors. It was built around 1990.
  • The other tower is at 20 Bay Street and has 24 floors. It was built around 1986.

All these buildings are connected to Union Station, a major transportation hub, through Toronto's PATH network. The PATH network is a system of underground walkways that lets people travel between buildings without going outside, which is very helpful during cold winters or hot summers.
