RWBY (pronounced "Ruby") is an American anime-style science fantasy web series created by the late Monty Oum for Rooster Teeth. The series is a follows four girls named Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long (collectively known as Team RWBY) who grow up in the supernatural world of Remnant and fight monsters called Grimm. Seven seasons called "volumes" have been uploaded on Rooster Teeth.
A Japanese dub of RWBY is distributed in Japan by Warner Bros. and airs on Animax.
