History of Rabun
The community of Rabun got its name from the Rabon family. They were some of the very first people to settle and live in this area. For many years, Rabun had its own post office. This post office helped people send and receive mail. It was open from 1916 until 1959.

Rabun is located in the southern part of Alabama. It's found within Baldwin County, which is one of the largest counties in the state. The area is close to the Gulf Coast region.
