Radenska is a very famous brand of mineral water from Slovenia. It's known all over the world! The company that makes it is called Radenska d.o.o. It's also one of the oldest brands from Slovenia.
The Story of Radenska
The story of Radenska mineral water began in 1869. This was in a place called Radenci in Slovenia. A man named Karl Henn owned the land there. He was the first person to fill bottles with this special mineral water.
People really liked the water. By the end of the 1800s, the company had sold more than one million bottles! That's a lot of water.
The Three Hearts Symbol
You might see a special symbol on Radenska bottles: three hearts. This symbol has been used since 1936. An artist named Milko Bambič designed it in 1931.
The three hearts had a special meaning. They stood for three groups of people who lived in a country called the Kingdom of Yugoslavia at that time. These groups were Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes.
Sponsoring Sports
Radenska also helps support sports teams. The company is a main sponsor for a cycling team. This team is called Ljubljana Gusto Santic. They are part of a group of cycling teams known as UCI Continental teams.
