Radersburg is a small, rural village in Broadwater County, Montana, United States. It is an unincorporated place, which means it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town.

History of Radersburg

Radersburg was started in 1865. This happened after gold was found in the area. The village is named after Reuben Rader. He was a man from Virginia who raised animals and looked for gold nearby.

In 1869, Radersburg became the main town for Jefferson County. This meant it was where the county government was located. However, in 1883, the county seat was moved to Boulder.

Radersburg is located in Montana. A small stream called Swamp Creek flows next to the village. It is also close to a large body of water called Canyon Ferry Lake.
