Rafael Bello was born and grew up in Santo Domingo, the capital city of the Dominican Republic. In 2011, he moved to the United States. That same year, he began his exciting journey working with the Telemundo 47 news team.
Starting in Radio
Rafael Bello began his career in journalism in 2003. He started by producing and hosting a sports part of a radio show called "Carril del Medio." This show was broadcast all over the Dominican Republic.
A few years later, in 2006, Rafael Bello created his own sports talk show called "Desde las Gradas." This show was interactive, meaning listeners could join in. He hosted and produced it himself. He worked with many other journalists, including Ivan Brea, who was a very experienced sports journalist.
