About Rafael Lomana
Rafael Lomana was born in Santander, Spain, in 1965. He grew up in León. He has an older sister, Carmen Lomana, who is well-known in media. From a young age, Rafael loved extreme sports. He became a skiing instructor at the Sierra Nevada mountains.
TV and Sports Career
Before becoming a politician, Rafael Lomana was a TV presenter. He hosted shows on sports channels. In 2010, he worked on a show called Extreme Challenge. He hosted it with a famous mountaineer, Jesús Calleja. Since 2016, he also presented Be The Best on Be Mad TV.
Entering Politics
In March 2019, Rafael Lomana announced he was joining the Vox political party. He wanted to run as a candidate in the next general election.
Becoming a Member of Parliament
In the April 2019 elections, he was elected to the Congress of Deputies. This is like being a Member of Parliament (MP) in Spain. He represented the Albacete area for the Vox party.
