Rafael 'Rafa' Paz Marín (born on August 2, 1965) is a former Spanish footballer. He mostly played as a right midfielder. Rafa Paz was known for his long career with Sevilla FC. He also played for the Spanish national team.

Rafa Paz's Club Career
Rafa Paz was born in Puebla de Don Fadrique, a town in Province of Granada, Spain. He started playing football as a young player. He joined CP Granada 74 first. Later, he moved to Sevilla FC as a junior player.
Playing for Sevilla FC
Rafa Paz spent most of his career at Sevilla FC. He played in 386 official games for the club. During his time there, he scored 27 goals. In the 1989–90 season, he had a great year. He scored six goals, which was his best record. This helped Sevilla finish sixth in La Liga, Spain's top football league. Finishing sixth meant they could play in the UEFA Cup the next season.
Moving to Mexico
After Sevilla was moved to a lower league in 1997, Rafa Paz left the club. He moved to Mexico to play for Atlético Celaya. He played one season there before ending his career. At Celaya, he played alongside other famous Spanish footballers. These included Emilio Butragueño and Rafael Martín Vázquez.
