Rafael Félix Rivelles Guillén (born December 23, 1898 – died December 3, 1971) was a famous Spanish actor. He was born in El Cabañal, a small town near Valencia, Spain. His parents, José Rivelles and Amparo Guillén, were also actors. Rafael Rivelles was the father of another well-known Spanish actress, Amparo Rivelles.

In the 1930s, when movies started having sound, Rafael went to Hollywood. He made Spanish versions of American films there. But he eventually came back to Spain to continue his acting career.

Rafael Rivelles's Famous Roles

Rafael Rivelles was especially known for two big roles. He played the main character in the movie Don Quijote de la Mancha (1947). This film was based on a very famous Spanish book. He also played the Prior in the movie Marcelino pan y vino (1955). This movie is about a young boy and is very popular.
