Rahaman Ali (born Rudolph Arnett Clay; July 18, 1943) is an American former heavyweight boxer. He is the younger brother of the famous boxer Muhammad Ali.

Rahaman Ali was born Rudolph Arnett Clay on July 18, 1943. His parents were Cassius Marcellus Clay Sr. and Odessa Grady Clay. He was born about 18 months after his older brother, Cassius Jr. His brother later became famous as Muhammad Ali.
His Boxing Journey
Rahaman's brother, Muhammad Ali, started boxing as a hobby in Louisville, Kentucky. Muhammad went to the 1960 Olympics, but Rahaman did not. Rahaman stayed an amateur boxer for a while. He became a professional boxer on February 25, 1964. This was the same night his brother won a big heavyweight title fight against Sonny Liston.
As a professional boxer, Rahaman Ali had 14 wins, 3 losses, and 1 draw. He won 7 of his fights by knockout. He was knocked out by an opponent only once. Rahaman stopped professional boxing after losing two fights in a row. The last loss was when Jack O'Halloran knocked him out.
Rahaman Ali also had an exhibition boxing match with his brother, Muhammad Ali. This was a non-scored fight, meaning no winner was declared. It happened on July 1, 1972, in Los Angeles, California.
His Books
In 2014, Rahaman Ali released his autobiography. It was called That's Muhammad Ali's Brother! My Life on the Undercard. He wrote it with H. Ron Brashear.
In 2019, Rahaman released his second book. It is titled My Brother, Muhammad Ali - The Definitive Biography. He wrote this book with Fiaz Rafiq. The book has been published in eight different languages around the world.
