Rahmon L. D. Fletcher (born November 18, 1988) is an American former professional basketball player. He played as a Point guard. Rahmon last played for the Manchester Giants in the British Basketball League (BBL).
He grew up in Kansas City, Missouri. Rahmon played college basketball for Green Bay. After college, Fletcher played for several teams in Europe. He won the BBL Most Valuable Player Award twice with the Newcastle Eagles.

High School Basketball
Rahmon Fletcher went to Paseo High School in his hometown. He was a top player there. When he was a sophomore and a senior, he was named second-team Class 4 All-State. This award came from the Missouri Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association.
After his junior year, Fletcher earned first-team honors. In the summer of 2006, he joined a big event called the ADIDAS ABCD Camp. At this camp, he was ranked the 16th best point guard. In March 2007, as a senior, he played in the McDonald's Riverwar All-Star Basketball Game. This game featured top players from Missouri and Illinois. He also played for his AAU team, KC Rocktown.
College Basketball Journey
Experts rated Fletcher as a three-star recruit when he finished high school. He was interested in playing for teams like Southern Illinois and Wichita State. But in the end, Fletcher decided to play for the Green Bay Phoenix.
Freshman Year at Green Bay
Rahmon made his first game for Green Bay on November 9, 2007. He scored 14 points, had two rebounds, and three assists. Green Bay won that game 76–75 against Oakland. On December 1, Fletcher scored his highest points in a game, 29 points, against South Dakota State.
He mostly played as a starter that season. He finished his first year averaging 10.1 points per game. He also had 2.5 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.2 steals per game. He led his team in total assists and in three-point shooting percentage. Rahmon also received honors like Freshman Mid-Major All-American. He was named to the Horizon League All-Newcomer Team.
Sophomore Season Highlights
Fletcher quickly became a regular starter in his second year at Green Bay. He started his sophomore season on November 18, 2008. In that game, he scored six points and had five assists against Utah. On December 22, he had a great game against Houston Baptist. He scored 18 points, made eight assists, and had three steals.
On March 18, 2009, Green Bay played their last game of the season. It was a College Basketball Invitational (CBI) game against Vermont. In that game, Fletcher achieved his first college double-double. This means he had 16 points and ten assists. He ended the season averaging 10.8 points, 4.5 assists, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.8 steals per game. He was ranked third in field goal percentage and fourth in assists in the Horizon League. Fletcher also earned second-team all-league honors.
Professional Basketball Career
After college, Rahmon Fletcher was not chosen in the 2011 NBA draft. He then signed his first professional basketball contract. This was with BS Weert in the Dutch Basketball League.
Playing for Newcastle Eagles
On July 29, 2014, Fletcher signed with the Newcastle Eagles. In his first season with the Eagles, he averaged 13.1 points per game. He also had 6.4 assists and 2.3 rebounds.
On July 7, 2016, Fletcher signed a new contract with Newcastle. He helped the Eagles reach the BBL Cup finals five times in a row. They won three of those finals. Fletcher was the top scorer in the 2016-17 British Basketball League season. He scored 676 points in 38 BBL games. This meant he averaged 20.8 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 6.7 assists per game.
After playing for a team in Slovakia for a short time, Fletcher came back to the Eagles. He played for them again in the 2018–19 season. He continued to be a key player for the team.
