Early Life and Education

Rajeev Suri was born in New Delhi, India. He grew up in Kuwait. He studied electronics and communications at the Manipal Institute of Technology. This is where he earned his engineering degree.

Rajeev Suri started working at Nokia in 1995. Nokia is a well-known company, especially for its mobile phones.

Leading Nokia Solutions and Networks

In 2009, Suri became the CEO of Nokia Solutions and Networks (NSN). This company was formed when Nokia Networks and Siemens Networks joined together. He helped lead this important part of Nokia's business.

Becoming CEO of Nokia

In April 2014, Rajeev Suri was chosen to be the main CEO of Nokia. He led the entire company for several years. He stepped down from this role in July 2020. Pekka Lundmark took over as CEO after him.
