In 1990, Foody played a 1930s gangster named Johnny in the movie Home Alone. He returned as Johnny in the 1992 sequel, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.
Johnny appears in black-and-white movies shown within the Home Alone films. These fake movies are called Angels with Filthy Souls and Angels with Even Filthier Souls. They are a funny copy of an old movie called Angels with Dirty Faces.
