About Ramatuelle
Ramatuelle is a charming village in the Var department. A "commune" is like a local government area in France. It's similar to a small town or village with its own local council. The Var department is one of the many administrative areas that make up France.
Location and Scenery
Ramatuelle is located in a beautiful part of France, close to the Mediterranean Sea. The village itself is often found on a hill, giving it great views of the surrounding countryside and coast. This region, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, is famous for its sunny weather and lovely landscapes.
Population and People
As of 2016, Ramatuelle was home to just over 2,000 people. This makes it a relatively small community. The people who live there are part of the larger French population.
Local Government
Like all communes in France, Ramatuelle has a mayor and a local council. The mayor helps manage the town's daily life and services. Roland Bruno was the mayor of Ramatuelle from 2014 to 2020.
