Randy Brown (born May 22, 1968) is an American former professional basketball player. He also coached for the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Brown was a guard who played college basketball at New Mexico State University and the University of Houston. He helped make the "What time is it" chant popular as a pre-game tradition.

Playing in the NBA
Randy Brown was chosen by the Sacramento Kings in the 1991 NBA draft. He played four seasons with the Kings. During this time, he scored 1,349 points.
Joining the Chicago Bulls
Brown joined the Chicago Bulls in 1995. He brought a lot of energy to the team. He was part of the Bulls' second "three-peat" from 1996 to 1998. A "three-peat" means winning three championships in a row.
Randy was a favorite among fans. He was one of the few experienced players who stayed with the Bulls after the 1998–99 NBA season. After Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Dennis Rodman left, Brown became a full-time starter. He had his best season in 1998–99. He averaged 8.8 points, 3.8 assists, and 3.4 rebounds per game.
Later Career and Retirement
After two more seasons with the Bulls, Brown played for the Boston Celtics and the Phoenix Suns. He retired from the NBA in 2003. He finished his career with 3,148 points and 1,420 assists.
Coaching Career
In July 2009, Randy Brown started working for the Bulls again. He was hired as their director of player development. The next year, he became a special assistant to the general manager. In 2013, he was promoted to assistant general manager.
