Rashawn started his professional basketball journey in 2013. He played for the Westports Malaysia Dragons. He was with this team for two seasons. They competed in the ASEAN Basketball League (ABL).
Joining the PBA
In 2016, Rashawn was chosen by the San Miguel Beermen team. This happened during the PBA draft. He was the sixth player picked overall. The PBA is the Philippine Basketball Association.
Team Changes and Trades
In October 2017, Rashawn was part of a big trade. He moved to the Kia Picanto team. This trade also involved other players like Ronald Tubid and Jay-R Reyes. The San Miguel Beermen received the first pick in the 2017 PBA draft from Kia. They used that pick to draft Christian Standhardinger.
