Ray St. Germain was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He became well-known for his music and for hosting many television shows. In 1969, he was the presenter for a Canadian TV series called Time for Living. Ray also wrote a book about his life in 2005, titled I Wanted to Be Elvis, So What Was I Doing in Moose Jaw?.

Hosting and Producing Shows

Ray St. Germain was a very busy person in television. He wrote, produced, and hosted a show called Big Sky Country. This popular show was shown all over Canada for 13 years on the Global Television Network.

He also worked with the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN). There, he produced and hosted a series called Rhythms of the Métis. Ray even used his voice for a children's cartoon series called Tipi Tales. This show aired on the Treehouse Network and APTN.

Ray St. Germain hosted more than 600 television shows. These shows were on channels like CBC Television, Global Television Network, and APTN. He also worked in radio for seven years at NCI-FM Radio. He hosted a special show called Métis Hour X2 on Saturday mornings. This show was for the Manitoba Métis Federation.
