Treehouse TV is a TV channel from Canada. It shows programs for young children, usually aged 2 to 5. The channel started on November 1, 1997.

Its name comes from an older TV block called "The Treehouse" that used to be on YTV. Treehouse TV is owned by a company called YTV Canada, Inc., which is part of Corus Entertainment.

How Can You Watch Treehouse TV Shows?

You can watch Treehouse TV shows in a few different ways. Besides the main TV channel, there are also special services that let you watch shows whenever you want.

Watching Shows On Demand

In 2005, a service called Treehouse On Demand started. This lets you choose and watch Treehouse TV shows whenever you like, using your cable TV service. Many cable companies offer this for free if you already have their digital cable. Some companies, like SaskTel, might offer it as a separate paid service.

From 2015 to 2019, there was also an app called TreehouseGO. You could use it on phones and tablets to watch shows.

Treehouse Classic App

In 2011, a special app was launched for Apple devices. It was first called Treehouse Classic. This app lets you watch many of the channel's shows. Later, the "Classic" part was removed from the name.

Treehouse Direct on YouTube

Treehouse Direct is a special service on YouTube. It has many animated and live-action shows. These include shows from Nelvana, which is another company under Corus Entertainment, and some shows from Nickelodeon.

What's cool about Treehouse Direct is that it offers shows in many different languages. You can find channels in Spanish or Portuguese, for example. This is different from the main TV channel, which is only in English.
