Rayborn, Missouri facts for kids
Rayborn is a small place in the eastern part of Wright County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. It's known as an unincorporated community. This means it's a group of homes and businesses that doesn't have its own local government, like a city or town would. Instead, it's managed by the county.
Rayborn is located right on Missouri Route 38, which is a main road. It sits between two other places called Hartville and Graff. About 2.5 miles (4 kilometers) to the east of Rayborn, Route 38 crosses another road, Missouri Route 95.

The Rayborn Post Office
A post office was opened in Rayborn in the year 1904. Post offices were very important back then because they were the main way people sent and received letters and packages. They also often served as a central meeting place for the community. The Rayborn post office stayed open for many years, helping the local residents with their mail. It finally closed down in 1956.
