De'Mario Monte Thornton (born June 13, 1985), known as Raz-B, is an American singer and actor. He is a founding member of the R&B boy band B2K.

Who is Raz-B?
Raz-B was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He became famous as a teenager when he helped create the music group B2K. This group quickly became very popular.
Early Career with B2K
While Raz-B was part of B2K, the group released their album, Pandemonium!. They also went on a big tour to perform their songs. In 2004, B2K starred in their first movie, You Got Served. Soon after the movie came out, the group announced they were breaking up.
Solo Music Journey
After B2K, Raz-B started his own music company called RazBeatz Entertainment. In May 2007, he released his first solo song, Fire. This song did very well on the Billboard charts. It reached number 2 on both the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles Sales chart and the Billboard Hot Singles Sales chart. He achieved this success without a lot of big promotions, showing his independent spirit.
On March 19, 2010, Raz-B released his first mixtape, called Boy 2 King. A mixtape is like an album, but often shared for free or at a lower cost. In 2011, he went on a music tour in China. He performed many shows in different cities across China.
In August 2013, while performing in China, Raz-B tried to stop a fight in the audience. He was accidentally hit in the face. There were some early reports that he was seriously hurt, but it was later confirmed that he would make a full recovery.
