De'Mario Monte Thornton (born June 13, 1985), better known by his stage name Raz-B, is an American singer, rapper, and actor. He is famous for being one of the founding members of the popular R&B boy band B2K. R&B is a music style that mixes soul, pop, and hip hop sounds.

Music and Acting Career
Raz-B was born in Cleveland, Ohio. As a teenager, he helped create and was a member of the group B2K. The group became very popular in the early 2000s.
Success with B2K
With B2K, Raz-B recorded the hit album Pandemonium! and went on a big tour to perform for fans. The group also starred in their own movie, You Got Served, which came out in 2004. Shortly after the movie's release, the group decided to break up.
Solo Music Career
After B2K, Raz-B started his own company called RazBeatz Entertainment to release his music. This meant he was an independent artist, working without a major record label.
In May 2007, he released his first solo song, "Fire." The song was a big success. It appeared on the Billboard music charts, reaching the #2 spot on two different sales charts, even without a lot of advertising.
In 2010, Raz-B released a mixtape called Boy 2 King. A mixtape is a collection of songs, often released for free to promote an artist's music. The next year, he went on a tour in China, performing in many different cities.
Incident in China
In 2013, while performing in China, Raz-B was injured when he tried to break up a fight in the crowd. He was hurt during the incident, but thankfully, he made a full recovery and was able to continue his career.
