The Red Bull Arena is a cool football stadium located in Harrison, New Jersey in the United States. It's the home field for the New York Red Bulls, a professional soccer team. This team plays in the MLS, which is the top soccer league in America!
Building the Red Bull Arena
The stadium's construction started in 2006. There were some disagreements between the club owner and the state of New Jersey. This caused a bit of a delay in finishing the stadium.
Opening Day
The Red Bull Company bought the team, which used to be called the MetroStars. After that, the stadium was finally opened! This happened on March 20, 2010. The very first game was a friendly match. The New York Red Bulls played against FC Santos from Brazil.
Just one week later, the first official league match was held. The New York Red Bulls played against the Chicago Fire.
Stadium Features
The Red Bull Arena is a modern stadium. It has 30 special luxury suites. These are like private boxes for watching the game. There are also 1,000 premium seats. These seats offer a great view of the field. The stadium's design matches the style of its owner, the Red Bull Company.
