Red Grammer's Musical Journey
Red Grammer grew up in East Orange, New Jersey. He first went to college to study medicine. However, he soon realized his true passion was music. He transferred to Beloit College in Wisconsin. There, he earned a degree in music in 1975.
Joining The Limeliters
After college, Red performed as a solo artist for several years. In 1981, he joined a well-known folk group called The Limeliters. He played the guitar and sang lead tenor. He toured with them until 1988.
Creating Music for Kids
