Redakai: Conquer the Kairu, often just called Redakai, is an exciting animated TV show. It first aired in Canada on YTV on July 9, 2011. It also came out in the United States on Cartoon Network on July 16, 2011, and in France on Canal J and Gulli on October 22, 2011.

The series was created by Vincent Chalvon Demersay and David Michel. It was made by Spin Master Entertainment from Canada and Marathon Media from France. The show's animation style is similar to anime, much like other shows from Marathon Media.

What is Redakai About?

The story follows Ky, a 15-year-old who studies ancient martial arts. He goes on a big adventure to find something called the Kairu. The Kairu is a powerful, ancient alien energy source.

Ky gets help from his friends, Maya and Boomer. Together, they travel all over the world looking for the Kairu. They also have to make sure that other alien teenagers, who are their enemies, don't find it first.
