Jasmine Denise Richards (born June 28, 1990) is a Canadian former actress and singer. She is famous for playing Margaret "Peggy" Dupree in the Camp Rock movies. She also starred as Margaret Browning-Levesque in the TV show Naturally, Sadie on the Family Channel. Another well-known role was Judge Tara in Overruled!.

Life and Career
Jasmine Richards was born in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. Her parents came from Barbados. When she was just one year old, her family moved to Oakville. She later attended Iroquois Ridge High School.
Starting Acting Young
Jasmine became interested in acting when she was 11 years old. She got her first acting job at her very first audition! Her first role as a child star was playing Shakira in the TV series Timeblazers.
In 2005, she played Alice Hope, the main character in an independent film called Devotion. From 2005 to 2007, Jasmine starred as Margaret Browning-Levesque in the Canadian TV show Naturally, Sadie. She worked alongside Charlotte Arnold on this show. In the U.S., Jasmine also appeared in many of Disney Channel's "Express Yourself" segments with her Naturally, Sadie co-stars.
Famous Roles
In 2007, Jasmine appeared in the TV series Da Kink in My Hair. The next year, in 2008, she was in the ABC Family TV movie Princess.
That same year, Jasmine became very well-known for her role as Margaret "Peggy" Dupree in the Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock. She returned to play Peggy again in Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam in 2010. In the first Camp Rock movie, she performed the song "Here I Am." However, another singer named Renee Sandstrom recorded the singing voice for the movie.
Personal Life
In September 2018, Jasmine Richards married Michael Caci. They welcomed their first child, a son, in December 2021.
