Jasmine Denise Richards, born on June 28, 1990, is a talented Canadian actress and singer. She is known for her roles as Margaret "Peggy" Dupree in the popular Camp Rock movies. She also played Margaret Browning-Levesque in the TV show Naturally, Sadie and Judge Tara in Overruled!. Jasmine retired from acting in 2014.

Early Life and Career Beginnings
Jasmine Richards was born in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. Her parents moved to Canada from Barbados. When she was just one year old, her family moved to Oakville. She attended Iroquois Ridge High School.
Jasmine became interested in acting when she was 11 years old. She was very talented and got her first acting job at her very first audition! Her first role as a child star was playing Shakira in the TV show Timeblazers.
Rising to Stardom
In 2005, Jasmine starred as Alice Hope in an independent film called Devotion. From 2005 to 2007, she played Margaret Browning-Levesque in the Canadian TV series Naturally, Sadie. She worked alongside Charlotte Arnold on this show. In the United States, Jasmine also appeared in special "Express Yourself" segments on Disney Channel with her Naturally, Sadie co-stars. These short clips encouraged kids to be themselves.
In 2007, Jasmine appeared in the TV series Da Kink in My Hair. The next year, in 2008, she was in the ABC Family TV movie Princess.
Camp Rock Success
Also in 2008, Jasmine got a big role in the Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock. She played Margaret "Peggy" Dupree, one of the campers. In this movie, she performed the song "Here I Am." However, another singer named Renee Sandstrom recorded the singing voice for Peggy in that song.
Jasmine returned to play Peggy again in 2010 for the sequel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. These movies were very popular with young audiences.
Personal Life
Jasmine Richards married Michael Caci in September 2018. They welcomed their first child, a son, in December 2021.
