Reginald Conrad Baldwin (born August 19, 1954), known as Reggie Baldwin, is a former professional baseball player. He played as a catcher in Major League Baseball (MLB). Reggie played for the Houston Astros during the 1978 and 1979 seasons. He was 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighed 195 pounds.

Reggie Baldwin's Baseball Journey
Starting Out in Baseball
Before becoming a professional player, Reggie Baldwin went to Grambling State University. The Houston Astros picked him in the third round of the 1976 amateur draft. This was his chance to start his professional baseball career.
He began playing that same year with the Covington Astros. This team was part of a rookie league, which is for new players. Reggie had a great start, hitting .286. He also hit ten home runs in 245 turns at bat.
Playing in the Minor Leagues
