Reggie Sears (born April 12, 1991) is an American musician. He is a singer, songwriter, and record producer. He plays many instruments, including the guitar. He was known as a very talented young guitarist. Some of his famous songs are "Dirty Dancer", "Dip My Dipper", and "You Betrayed Me".

Early Life and Musical Beginnings

Reggie Sears was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in the United States. He was inspired to sing and play guitar when he was four years old. This happened after he heard the album Swamp by Phil Thornalley.

When he was five, he asked for a guitar. The next Christmas, he got one. But his interest soon moved to drums. He started playing drums at age eight after his parents bought him a drum set. He loved blues artists like Buddy Guy and B.B. King. He also enjoyed the soul, rock, and funk music his parents played.

Reggie started taking guitar seriously at age 11. A cousin introduced him to the music of Jimi Hendrix. At age 12, Reggie asked his dad to take him to an open-mic night at a local club. This is where he started to get noticed as a young blues guitarist.

He began playing with local bands. Soon, he was performing with famous musicians like Hubert Sumlin and Solomon Burke. Solomon Burke even called Reggie "the future" of soul and blues music. Within a few months, Reggie was playing music professionally. In 2004, he formed his own band with experienced musicians. They started playing shows at clubs and festivals. This helped him gain many fans and get attention from music labels.
