Reginald Sherard Walton, often known as Reggie, was a professional baseball player. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for two teams: the Seattle Mariners and the Pittsburgh Pirates. Reggie played for the Mariners in 1980 and 1981, and then for the Pirates in 1982. He was an Outfielder, meaning he played in the grassy area of the baseball field. His batting average was .250, and he hit 2 Home runs and had 9 Runs Batted In. Reggie was born in Kansas City, Missouri.
Early Life and College Sports
Before playing in the big leagues, Reggie went to Compton High School. After high school, he attended Compton College. He was a talented athlete and played both baseball and football there. He was even chosen for the All-Western State Conference team in both sports, which means he was one of the best players in his college conference!
