Reichenburg is a small town, also called a municipality, located in the March District within the canton of Schwyz in Switzerland. It's a place with interesting history and beautiful nature.

A Look at Reichenburg's History
Reichenburg was started a long time ago, in the year 1403. A monk named Gregory of Moorlock founded it. He chose a special spot where a spring of water flowed. Pilgrims, who were travelers on a religious journey, used this spring to wash their feet. People believed the water from the spring could help tired travelers feel better and even clear their minds.

Reichenburg covers an area of about 11.6 square kilometers (which is about 4.5 square miles). A big part of this land, more than half (56.5%), is used for farming. This means there are lots of fields and farms.

Getting Around Reichenburg
Reichenburg is easy to reach by car because it's located right on the A3 motorway, which is a major highway in Switzerland.
