Reiffsburg is a small place in Indiana, a state in the United States. It is called an unincorporated community. This means it's a group of homes and businesses that isn't officially a city or town with its own local government. Reiffsburg is located in Harrison Township, which is part of Wells County.
History
Reiffsburg got its name from a man named John Reiff. He was the person who planned out the community. When someone "plats" a community, they draw up maps showing where streets, lots, and public areas will be.
A post office was opened in Reiffsburg in 1854. This was an important place for people to send and receive mail. The post office served the community for many years before it closed down in 1905.
