Reuben Greene was born on November 24, 1938. He is an American actor who has worked in movies, theater, and on television. He is most famous for playing the character Bernard in the play The Boys in the Band. He later played the same character in the 1970 movie version.

Besides The Boys in the Band, he had a few other roles. He played Dr. James Hudson in the 1969 CBS TV show Where the Heart Is. He also had a small part as Franklyn in the 1976 movie Mikey and Nicky.

In 1996, a newspaper called The New York Daily News reported that Greene was living in Queens, New York. His last known interview was around the year 2000.

In 2010, a filmmaker named Crayton Robey made a documentary. This film was about how The Boys in the Band movie was made. It was called Making the Boys. The film was shown at the Tribeca Film Festival. At that time, the filmmaker said that Reuben Greene's location was not known.
