Edward Clariss: The First Rival
One of the first characters to use the name Reverse-Flash was Edward Clariss. He was also known as the Rival or Rival Flash.
Edward Clariss first appeared in a comic book called Flash Comics #104. This comic came out in February 1949. He was created by a writer named John Broome and an artist named Joe Kubert.
