Reynolds is a small place in the western part of Reynolds County, Missouri, in the United States. It is known as an "unincorporated community." This means it's a group of homes and businesses that doesn't have its own local government, like a city or town would. Instead, it's managed by the larger county government. You can find Reynolds where two roads, Route 72 and Missouri Route B, cross. It's about six miles southwest of a town called Centerville.

How Reynolds Got Its Name

Before it was called Reynolds, this community had a different name: "Tralaloo." A post office was first set up here in 1904, and it was named Tralaloo. However, just one year later, in 1905, the name was changed to Reynolds. The community was named after Reynolds County, the county it is located within.
