Ri Kun-mo (born April 5, 1926 – died 2001) was a well-known politician from North Korea. He served as the Premier of North Korea from December 29, 1986, to December 12, 1988. The Premier is like the head of government in many countries.

Ri Kun-mo took over the role from Kang Song-san. He was later replaced by Yon Hyong-muk. Reports say he left his position because of health problems.

Later Years

In 1998, Ri Kun-mo was chosen to be the Chief Secretary for North Hamgyong Province. This is a big leadership role in a specific region. However, he stopped working in this role in 2001. It is believed that he passed away shortly after that time.
