History of Richvalley
Early Beginnings
Richvalley was first settled a long time ago, in the year 1827. When it was first starting out, the community was sometimes called by a different name: Keller's Station. This was an older name for the area.
The Post Office
A post office is a place where you can send and receive mail. Richvalley had its own post office, which opened in 1861. This post office served the community for many years. It stayed open and helped people send letters and packages until 1974, when it finally closed down.
