Rila Fukushima (福島 リラ, Fukushima Rira) is a talented Japanese model and actress. She is well-known for her roles in movies and TV shows based on comic books. You might know her from the superhero film The Wolverine (2013), where she played Yukio. She also appeared in the TV series Arrow as Tatsu Yamashiro. Another famous role was the Red-robed Geisha in the movie Ghost in the Shell (2017).

Rila Fukushima was born in Tokyo, Japan. She first wanted to work as a model agent, helping other models find jobs. But she was convinced to try modeling herself, and it worked out! Her modeling career has included working for many famous brands and appearing in various fashion shows.
Her Acting Career
Rila Fukushima became an actress in 2012. Her first big movie role was in the 2013 superhero film The Wolverine. In this movie, she played the character Yukio.
She also appeared in a Japanese TV show called Gunshi Kanbei in 2014. Later, she joined the cast of Arrow, a popular TV show about a superhero. She played the character Tatsu Yamashiro for several seasons.
In 2015, Rila Fukushima had a small role in the famous HBO series Game of Thrones. She played a Red Priestess in one episode. She also starred in a Netflix show called Million Yen Women as Minami Shirakawa.
Vogue Japan magazine recognized her talent by choosing her as one of the women of 2013.
