Rita Volk, whose full name is Margarita Volkovinskaya, is an actress from Uzbekistan and America. She was born on September 3, 1990. Many people know her for playing the character Amy Raudenfeld in the TV show Faking It on MTV.

Early Life and Education
Rita Volk was born in Tashkent, which was part of the Soviet Union at the time. When she was six years old, her family moved to San Francisco, USA. A person who looks for models noticed her. After trying out for some commercials, Rita decided she really wanted to be an actress.
High School and College Years
Rita went to Lowell High School in San Francisco. During high school, she acted in school plays. She says that watching movies helped her and her family learn American English and understand American culture better. In 2005, she won an award for being a high school poet.
After high school, Rita went to Duke University. She studied psychology and was also on a pre-medical path, meaning she was preparing to study medicine. While in college, she acted in student films. She was also part of a comedy group called "Inside Joke."
Acting Career
In 2013, Rita Volk got a role in a new comedy show for MTV called Faking It. She played Amy, one of the main characters. MTV decided to make the show a full series in October 2013. Interestingly, Rita first tried out for the role of Karma, not Amy, in Faking It.
Movies and Music Videos
In 2015, Rita joined the cast of a movie called Almost Friends. She also appeared in a music video in 2017. This video was for the theme song of an older movie called Christine, and it was directed by the famous filmmaker John Carpenter.
