Joining the Band Five

In 1997, Ritchie Neville tried out for a new boy band called Five. This group was meant to have a cool, edgy style. He was chosen to be part of the band along with Abz Love, Scott Robinson, Sean Conlon, and Jason "J" Brown.

Success with Five

After forming, Five signed a big record deal with Simon Cowell and BMG/RCA. The band became very successful around the world. They sold over 20 million records in just four years. The group decided to split up on September 27, 2001. After the band broke up, Ritchie was offered a solo music deal, but it did not happen.

Comebacks and Changes

In 2006, Five tried to get back together, but without Sean Conlon. However, they could not find a new record label, and the band split up again.

In January 2013, Five returned for an ITV2 reality show called The Big Reunion. Jason "J" Brown did not want to rejoin the group. At first, Five thought about adding a new fifth member. But they decided to continue as a four-member group. Later, Abz Love also left the band in June 2014. This left Five as a trio.

In February 2025, both Abz Love and Jason "J" Brown announced they were returning to Five. This was the first time the original five members had been together in 24 years.

Life in Australia

In 2004, Ritchie Neville moved to Australia. There, he worked as a sommelier, which is an expert in wines. In 2007, he opened his own restaurant in Sydney called Guerrilla Bar and Restaurant. The restaurant received good reviews. He sold the restaurant in March 2016.

Family Life

In 2008, Ritchie Neville started dating Australian model and DJ Emily Scott. They got married in Henley-on-Thames on October 23, 2008. After their wedding, they moved to Sydney, Australia. They separated four months later. A disagreement occurred between them, and the court found him not responsible in July 2009.

Ritchie Neville began dating Atomic Kitten singer Natasha Hamilton in 2013. On April 23, 2014, they shared that they were expecting a baby. Natasha Hamilton gave birth to their daughter, Ella Rose, on September 23, 2014. Ritchie and Natasha separated in March 2016.

On June 13, 2025, Ritchie announced that he was engaged to a woman he did not name publicly. He proposed to her during a trip to Italy.
