Sean Kieran Conlon was born on May 20, 1981. He is an English singer and songwriter. Many people know him as a member of the popular boy band called Five.

Early Life and Music Beginnings

Sean Conlon grew up in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. His family has roots from Ireland and Trinidad. He has four brothers and sisters. As a child, Sean dreamed of making soul music or playing rugby.

He started recording music when he was just eleven years old. When he was thirteen, he won the Yamaha Young Composer Competition. This win allowed him to perform for famous music people like Harvey Goldsmith and Phil Collins.

Sean Conlon's Career Journey

Joining the Band Five (1997–2002)

In 1997, Sean tried out for a new boy band called Five. This group wanted to be different and have a lot of energy. Sean was chosen to be in the band with Abz Love, Ritchie Neville, Scott Robinson, and Jason "J" Brown.

The band Five signed a big record deal with Simon Cowell and BMG/RCA. They became very successful around the world. Five sold over 20 million records in just four years!

While they were releasing their third album, Kingsize, Sean faced some tough times. He felt a lot of pressure and decided to leave the band. Sean later shared that he felt less confident as the band became more famous.

After leaving Five, Sean briefly signed a solo music deal in 2002. However, his first solo album was never released. He then took a break from music for a long time.

Five Returns (2012–Present)

In March 2012, Sean tried out for a TV show called The Voice UK. However, none of the judges picked him to join their team.

In January 2013, the band Five decided to get back together for an ITV2 reality show called The Big Reunion. One of the original members, Jason "J" Brown, did not want to rejoin. The band thought about finding a new fifth member. But in the end, they decided to continue as a group of four. Sean, Abz, Ritchie, and Scott have been performing live and touring in Europe ever since.

Sean Conlon's Personal Life

When Five first started, Sean was engaged to a dancer named Suzanne Mole. She used to tour with the band. Sean is now married to a woman who likes to keep her life private. In 2014, they announced they were going to have a baby. Soon after, they welcomed their daughter.
