Ritesh Sidhwani (born in 1973) is a famous film producer from India. He is one of the people who started a big company called Excel Entertainment with Farhan Akhtar.
His very first movie as a producer, Dil Chahta Hai, was released in 2001 and won a special award called the National Award. Ritesh Sidhwani also helped Excel Entertainment become one of the first big Indian companies to create shows and movies for online streaming services, known as OTT platforms.
Some of their popular online shows include Inside Edge (which came out in 2017) and was even nominated for an award at the 46th International Emmy Awards. They also made Mirzapur (2018) and Made in Heaven (2019).
Ritesh Sidhwani has produced many different kinds of movies. Some well-known ones are Dil Dhadakne Do, Gully Boy, the Don movies, and the Fukrey series. To make more online shows, he created a special part of Excel Entertainment called Excel Media & Entertainment.
