Joining the AFL
In 2018, Robbie Young was part of the North Adelaide Football Club team that won the SANFL premiership. A premiership means they won the championship for that year. Because of his great performance, he was chosen by the St Kilda Football Club in the 2018 AFL draft. He was the 67th player picked in this draft. The AFL draft is where professional teams choose new players.
Playing for St Kilda
Robbie Young made his first senior game in the AFL on May 18, 2019. He played for St Kilda against the Collingwood Football Club at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). He played three games and kicked two goals for St Kilda during the 2019 season. At the end of that season, he was delisted, which means he was no longer part of the team.
After the AFL
