Robert Christian was born in Los Angeles, California. He started acting when he was just a child. You might have seen him in popular TV shows like Amos 'n' Andy and The Andy Griffith Show when he was young. As he grew older, Robert moved to New York City to continue his acting studies. He trained at a famous acting school called the Actors Studio, where he learned from a well-known teacher named Lee Strasberg.

His Acting Career

Robert Christian was a member of the Negro Ensemble Company, a very important theater group. He performed in many plays on stage. In 1976, he won a special award called an Obie Award for his amazing acting in a play called Blood Knot. This play was written by Athol Fugard and performed at the Manhattan Theater Club.

Robert also acted on television. He played Detective Bob Morgan on the TV show Another World. He was on the show for most of 1982, from January to December.
