Early Life and First Steps in Modeling
Robyn was born in Girraween, New South Wales, Australia. Her parents are Chris and Janne Lawley. She has two older sisters, Shona and Jennifer. Robyn went to Macarthur Girls High School.
When she was 15, Robyn was offered a modeling contract. But she didn't feel ready at that time. After a year, she tried modeling again. She worked as a "straight size" model for a year. This meant she had to stay a size 8, which was a lot of effort.
When she was 18, Robyn decided to try something different. She signed with Bella model management. This agency specialized in "plus-size" modeling in Australia.
