This community is in the northwest area of the Rocky Boy Indian Reservation. Another community called Box Elder is right next to it, to the northwest. A major road, U.S. Route 87, passes through the northwest corner of Rocky Boy West. This road can take you to Havre, which is about 23 miles northeast. If you go southwest for about 48 miles, you will reach Fort Benton.
