Working at Univision
In early 2015, during a TV segment about a makeup artist, Rodner Figueroa made a comment that caused a lot of discussion. He said that Michelle Obama looked like a character from the movie Planet of the Apes. Even though his co-hosts disagreed, he repeated the comment. Because of this comment, Univision decided to end his employment. After this, Figueroa publicly apologized for what he had said.
